I am Carsten Kromann, the man behind Flashback Motors.

For the past 20 years, I have sold used cars. mostly newer used cars, but now I have thrown my love at cars from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Cars with soul and attitude. This is where the name Flashback Motors comes from—going back to when time was different. A period that you may sometimes miss, especially today where everything goes fast and it is expected that you are adaptable.

Primarily, I find cars in southern Europe, where the climate is much more gentle for the cars on several parameters. Among other things, the cars are significantly less rusty, and they also avoid cold starts in sub-zero temperatures. Two essential things for the good preservation of a car, but it is also why the cars abroad are typically more expensive than they are in Denmark. Or I find cars that are stored according to the right conditions in an otherwise harsh climate. All my cars are indoors in a ventilated room.

I spend a lot of time finding the right cars. This means that if I drive 1000 kilometres to buy a car and it turns out that the car does not live up to my expectations, yes, then I drive again without trading. Even though it is tempting to buy the car, when I have put so much energy into finding just that one, I let reason rule, as it will basically be a bad deal.
